Philips Electronic Engineer EE1000 series

Philips EE1000 series

Thee EE1000 serie is published in many variants. The number of projects has grown considerably compared to the EE8/EE20 series. And the germanium transistors are replaced with modern silicium types. No sign of IC's yet!.

As you can see the flat experimenters board was enhanced with a real front which gives the projects a more professional look.
The EE1003 has a large experimenters board, the EE1050 a small one.
Some radio projects are quite sophisticated, and come back in the EE2000 series. Compared to the Pionier and EE8/20 manuals the information in the EE100x manuals is quite compact and not very educational. The EE1050/51/52 manual is on the contrary very good.

Many experiments are about radio receivers for different wavelengths.

My collection

I have the EE1003 (3x), EE1004 (2x), EE1005 (2 versions)) and EE1006 from the later period, some in a not too good condition, missing parts like coils and missing manual EE1006

Also i have two versions of the EE1050 kit (with templates and german manual).

From the EE1007 kit I have the oscilloscope set, see down for pictures!
On Tor Gjerde's site you can find in the library multilingual and german manuals for EE1003/4/5.

ME1201 and EE1003

The combination of ME1201 and EE1003 makes it possible, as with the ME1200 and the EE20, to combine electronics with mechanical models. This is documented in the ME1201 diagrams.

EE1007

Just the oscilloscope tube, rare, expensive and very beautiful!

See the library of Tor Gjerde for the manual of the EE1007/8 in german.
This device is also used in the EE2007, so the reconstructed EE2007/8 manual in the library of Tor Gjerde is also interesting.
