The MCS Alpha1 is a KIM-1 clone, in a nice housing, complete with powersupply and many improvements. It is however limited to 1K RAM.
Getting KIM programs like published in the First Book of KIM is easy, and illustrated in the (german) manual. With 8 instead of 6 LED displays and a 'smart' monitor program it is quite easy to use. And the manuel is well written and complete.

The CPU board is located uncovered on top. Inside the case are 2x 6532 and EPROMs, keyboard, serial interface and cassette interface.

In 1979 I have written a review of this development system in Radio Bulletin, read it here.
